Prof. Wahyu Caesarendra: I am impressed by Opole University of Technology

I conducted research and worked at six different universities in six different countries, namely Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, Singapore, Brunei, and now Poland. My initial impression of working at the Opole University of Technology was the friendliness and warmth of the academic staff. I am also impressed by the accessibility of equipment in the laboratory. I would like to come back here again – emphasizes Prof. Wahyu Caesarendra, who is completing scientific research at our university.

Prof. Wahyu Caesarendra is from Brunei Darussalam, a country located in Southeast Asia, on the northern coast of the island of Borneo. He is a member of many scientific societies and organizations, a recipient of international scholarships, and the author of numerous patents. In 2020, he was nominated for the Research Excellence Award for achievements in the early stages of his scientific career. – At Opole University of Technology, I conducted research related to smart manufacturing. In the era of Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence (AI) plays a crucial role in the development of advanced technologies. As engineers, especially mechanical engineers, we should be involved in the rapid transformation of technology – emphasizes the scientist, who, during his work at the Opole University of Technology, focused on several real-world applications of artificial intelligence in the field of mechanics and production.
