Opole University of Technology is a leader in mechanical engineering in the country
Opole University of Technology took first place in Poland in the ranking of mechanical engineering – this is how the achievements of our scientists are evaluated by the Research.com ranking, in which only six Polish universities were classified.
The ranking in question is a global compilation of the best scientifically recognized universities in the field of mechanical engineering. Its latest, third edition covers exactly 542 universities from 52 countries.
“The high position confirms the relevance of our research and verifies the direction of development. Not only have we moved up from third place in last year’s national ranking, but we have also strengthened the position of our university on the international stage. A year ago, we ranked 259th in the world, now we’re at 239th. Besides the obvious satisfaction, it’s primarily a confirmation that scientific research conducted at Opole University of Technology is at a global level,” emphasizes Prof. Grzegorz Królczyk, Vice-Rector for Science and Development at Opole University of Technology.
“Mechanical engineering is one of our main areas. The ranking results provide information for high school students, our current students, and the industry that it’s worthwhile to study here, worthwhile to collaborate with us. We are leaders in mechanical engineering in the country,” adds Prof. Grzegorz Królczyk.
