Mechanical Engineering distinguished with a prestigious certificate
Mechanical Engineering, as one of the four study programs in Poland, has been distinguished with the prestigious Certificate of Excellence in Education in the category: always for the student – excellence in supporting student development.
The Certificate of Excellence in Education is awarded by the Polish Accreditation Committee. As stated in the justification of the decision: ‘Units that conduct programs distinguished by the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee with the certificate implement effective, innovative, and exemplary solutions conducive to the quality of education, characterized in particular by: effectiveness, universality, innovativeness, exemplariness, ethicality, and sustainability of the impact on improving the quality of education.’
‘For the first time, our university has received such an important certificate. For us, it is primarily confirmation of high-quality education and also great satisfaction because the opinions of the students themselves had a significant influence on the awarding of the certificate,’ emphasizes Anida Stanik-Besler, Vice-Rector for Education and Didactics at the pole University of Technology.
The Polish Accreditation Committee, while evaluating Mechanicsal Engineering, noted that at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, utilizing new technologies, there operates a comprehensive, stable, and diverse system of support for students, which assists them in achieving their educational, scientific, and professional goals. This system is adapted to the needs of various student groups, including outstanding students, international students, and students with disabilities. Additionally, academic, sports, and artistic achievements are rewarded, and students have the opportunity to personalize the educational process.
