At the Opole University of Technology, a modern laboratory for renewable energy sources has been opened
The laboratory, worth over half a million złotych, offers great opportunities for both students and scientists. The laboratory, located on the second campus of the university in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control and Informatics building, consists of modern workstations that enable experiments and research in the field of renewable energy technologies. Additionally, the workstations have been equipped with auxiliary devices necessary in the energy production process.
“This is a very modern laboratory, particularly close to me, as I have been involved for many years in topics primarily related to heating technologies and renewable energy sources. The laboratory was established thanks to the cooperation of our university with three of our industrial partners: GALMET Sp. z o.o., Caleffi Poland Sp. z o.o., and TECH Sterowniki. Thanks to this, students will start working with modern equipment” informs Prof. Marcin Lorenc, Rector of the Opole University of Technology.
