Application and complaint procedure

Everyone has the right to request the provision of digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or any of their elements. You can also request information to be provided through an alternative method of access, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc.

The request should include the requester’s details, specify the website or mobile application in question, and provide a contact method. If the requester needs information through an alternative method of access, they should also specify a convenient way for the information to be presented.

The public entity should fulfil the request immediately, no later than 7 days from the day the request is made. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the public entity should promptly inform the requester when the request will be fulfilled, with a deadline not exceeding 2 months from the day the request is made.

If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information. In the event that the public entity refuses to fulfil the request for accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the requester can file a complaint regarding the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application, or element thereof. After exhausting the above procedure, you can also submit a request to the Commissioner for Human Rights..
