OUTech at BAKU STUDY IN EUROPE FAIR
From November 17 to 19, a delegation from the Opole University of Technology participated in the educational fair “Study in Europe” in Baku. The event was organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan, which invited several thousand people interested in pursuing studies in one of the European Union countries.
During the event, representatives from the International Cooperation Department met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rafał Poborski, and Peter Michalko, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As part of the visit, the delegation from the International Cooperation Department also visited Azerbaijan Technical University, where possibilities for cooperation under the Erasmus+ program were discussed.
The English-language study programs offered by the Opole University of Technology attracted considerable interest. Potential candidates were particularly interested in pursuing studies in Computer Engineering at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Many people also inquired about the possibility of continuing their education in the Doctoral School.
The visit to Baku resulted in establishing contacts with several academic institutions and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Azerbaijan to promote the educational offerings of Opole University of Technology.
